Lindsey Soderberg is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the owner of Horizon ABA LLC. She earned her Master’s degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University and became a BCBA in 2021. Lindsey has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for over 20 years, serving in roles as a behavior technician, direct BCBA, and now as a practice owner dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care for children and families.
Lindsey holds a Level 5 credential in Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment (PFA-SBT) and is deeply passionate about using this compassionate, trauma-informed approach to help clients build meaningful skills while improving quality of life for the entire family. She believes in creating supportive, collaborative relationships with clients, caregivers, and staff to foster long-term success.
When she is not working, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her two daughters, fishing, and watching Netflix documentaries.

Payton first began working with children with autism spectrum disorder as a teacher’s assistant in Chesapeake Public Schools after watching her mother be an Early Childhood Special Education teacher for 25 years. Payton then began working as a RBT at the Elizabeth Hope Center in 2022 and became a BCBA/LBA in 2024. She practices with a client-centered, trauma informed approach, leading with empathy and compassion rather than compliance. Payton is passionate about expanding opportunities for independence for her clients and families as well as expanding the knowledge of ABA to help others

Amber has been a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) since May 2025 and was Horizon ABA’s very first RBT. Diagnosed with autism at age 17, she brings a unique blend of professional training and personal experience, allowing her to connect with clients and families in a meaningful way. Amber is currently pursuing her BCaBA certification through Purdue Global and is passionate about helping children reach their full potential.

Lisette Rice is a Registered Behavior Technician with a strong background in education, special education, and student support. She holds a master’s degree in Education and has completed post-master’s coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis. With more than 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents, Lisette is passionate about building meaningful relationships and helping individuals strengthen communication, self-advocacy, social-emotional skills, and independence. She believes meaningful growth begins with understanding, connection, and recognizing the strengths of each individual.

Nishira’s journey in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis began in 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (with a minor in sociology) and a Master’s degree in Speicial Education with an ABA concentration. Nishira is currently studying to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). When Nishira am not studying or working, you can find her at the boxing gym or at a poetry event.

Brittney has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for 5 years and has experience supporting children ages 2–14. She began her career working in a behavioral facility with children with a variety of diagnoses, which sparked her passion for helping children and families and led her to pursue a career in ABA. Brittney is dedicated to creating meaningful relationships and supporting each child’s growth and success. When she is not shaping behavior, she enjoys attending concerts and traveling.

Autumn began her ABA journey in 2020, inspired by her experiences as a mom to children on the autism spectrum. What started as a personal passion quickly became a career dedicated to helping children and families feel supported, understood, and empowered. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and is passionate about creating compassionate, individualized learning experiences for every client.
Before entering the field of ABA, Autumn proudly served 12 years on active duty in the Navy as a Yeoman, where she worked extensively with the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP). She is especially passionate about helping military families navigate autism resources and services, as well as empowering parents to confidently advocate for their children through the IEP process.

I currently hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and have four years of experience working with young children in daycare and school settings. Samantha recently graduated from the Uniiversity of Virginia in 2026. Her interest in ABA started out through differential courses at UVA and netting children with autism as a gymnastics coach. Sam will be continuing her ABA journey by pursuing her Master’s in Special Education with an ABA concentration. Outside of ABA, Same enjoys going to the beach, working out and spending time with friends and family.
