“As a parent with a new diagnosis of autism for our 3 (now 4) year old, I was lost & distraught when I first met Lindsey Soderberg and her company Horizon ABA. There were a million things for me to do and I had no idea where to even start. From the beginning, Lindsey made things super easy for me and provided comfort & support on top of exceptional help. She prioritized my son and his needs. Therapy sessions were made so conveniently for me and our family’s busy schedule, whether it be at the EHF clinic or in home. There were so many conversations about his treatment plan and goals but one thing I’ll never forget is, at a time when I was feeling so helpless and questioning myself “am I doing everything right for my son?”, Lindsey came into the picture and simply said, “we got him.” This small act of reassurance comforted my heart and I knew we found the perfect place for him with Horizon ABA. 

Our son is primarily with Ryann Sumner and we can truly see how our son cares so much for her. Our son is not very adventurous and he tends to stay on guard and cautious but we see him exploring more and wanting to do more things because of the trust he has with Ryann. Our son has made some big, big positive changes & milestones since being with Ryann. Amber is extremely intelligent and creative. She’s lighthearted and sweet in nature with the perfect about of edge to make therapy fun for our son. Juel is very compassionate and empathetic to our son. She has some pretty amazing dance skills and phenomenal artwork. She just carries a cool vibe about her that made our son instantly bond with her and they became friends fast. They both have a way of providing therapy that does not feel like work for our son.We truly feel our son’s future is so bright and we owe so much of that to Ryann and her exceptional care. She really pushes our son to overcome obstacles in a positive light. She is so much fun and we can see he truly enjoys being around her, learning from her and interacting with her. Ryann pushes our son to perform at his best abilities, while also giving him the space to figure things out on his own sometimes too. Ryann’s care with our son is the best combination of providing motivation and comfort. Our son absolutely adores her, but more importantly, he trusts her and she has guided him through some of his own personal hurdles, which has made life easier for our son. 

Our son also has great experiences with Juel & Amber. They all work so hard but appear to have so much fun doing so. The teamwork approach at Horizon ABA is evident and the company truly has a sense of family while maintaining a professional, goal achieving experience with their kiddos. We truly cannot thank everyone at Horizon ABA enough for their hard work and dedication with our son and his ABA therapy. Our son has gone from “go with the flow; it is what it is” to now, we truly see how excited he is to go to Horizon. And on days, he does not have therapy, we see his disappointment. He has made some big, positive changes since being with Horizon and we are so excited for his future.”
